Ses tiges s\u2019enroulent d\u2019elles-m\u00eames sur le support que vous lui apporterez : elle vous cr\u00e9e un port couvrant et \u00e9l\u00e9gant paliss\u00e9e sur des fils, un treillis ou une pergola.<\/p><p>Au mois de mars \u00e0 avril, l\u2019Ak\u00e9bia se couvre d\u2019innombrables grappes de petites fleurs parfum\u00e9es. <br \/>Pour l\u2019esp\u00e8ce type, Akebia quinata, la couleur de la floraison est d\u2019un violet pourpr\u00e9. Le cultivar Akebia quinata \u2018Cream Form\u2019 apporte davantage de lumi\u00e8re avec des petites fleurs de couleur cr\u00e8me.
